WSIP Data and Model Products Description -...
The California Water Commission has developed the following data and model products for applicants to use in the uncertainty analysis required by Section 6004(a)(8)(A) of the Water Storage Investment Program regulations. Per the regulations, an applicant must describe how public physical benefits are affected by two extreme climate scenarios:

2070 Drier/Extreme-Warming (DEW) Future Conditions – Year 2070 future condition with projected climate and sea level conditions for a thirty-year period centered at 2070 (climate period 2056-2085) based on GCM HadGEM2-ES and emission scenario RCP 8.5, and

2070 Wetter/Moderate-Warming (WMW) Future Conditions – Year 2070 future condition with projected climate and sea level conditions for a thirty-year period centered at 2070 (climate period 2056-2085) based on GCM CNRM-CM5 and emission scenario RCP 4.5.
