Tanzania Land Tenure Assistance Endline Survey Dataset

This dataset is for the final round of the Feed the Future Tanzania Land Tenure Assistance (LTA) activity impact evaluation that the Office of Land and Urban in the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID’s) Bureau for Economic Growth, Education, and Environment commissioned. The evaluation incorporates a randomized controlled trial design to rigorously test how mobile mapping and facilitation of land tenure certification affect income, women’s empowerment, dispute prevalence, and other factors related to land use and tenure security in Iringa District, Tanzania. This associated file contains household characteristics and outcome variables. Data for this evaluation were collected in two phases to account for the implementation schedule. This file only contains endline data for all households in the study, both Phase I and Phase 2, and is needed to estimate final impacts. Data collection took place in Iringa District in 2020.
