Hello Everyone

we are using server 2022 and unable to add Roles and features in server

when we try to add any roles and features we are getting below Error

The ws-management service cannot process the request. the service is configured to not accept any remote shell requests

Can some help out

Hey Dilip,

This is a known issue every admin usually come across when you setup a new server or server in a locked down env, there is a GPO setting you need to set - https://admx.help/?Category=Windows_10_2016&Policy=Microsoft.Policies.WindowsRemoteShell::AllowRemoteShellAccess

So, what about those that do have this configured already and are still facing the exact same error? I can remote shell into the server using Enter-PSSession <server_name> -Credential $MyCreds, yet Server Manager continues to generate "The ws-management service cannot process the request. the service is configured to not accept any remote shell requests." message.
