My laptop didn't support bluetooth hardware and I got a bluetooth dongle, bluetooth was recognized and I even saw the available devices in the add device section, but it doesn't connect and it shows me the try again error. After about 20 seconds it says this while connecting. I checked the update of the Bluetooth driver and set the Bluetooth support service mode to automatic and restarted it, but it still didn't work. I use Windows 10 operating system

    Hello

Here are some steps you can try to resolve it:

    1. Run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter: Windows has a built-in troubleshooter that can help diagnose and fix issues with Bluetooth.

Press the Windows logo key + I on your keyboard to open Settings.

Select Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Bluetooth.

    Click on Run the troubleshooter.

    1. Restart the Bluetooth Services: The Bluetooth Support Service needs to be enabled and running for Bluetooth to work.

Press the Windows logo key + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.

Right-click on Bluetooth Support Service and select Restart. If it’s not running, click Start.

Double-click on Bluetooth Support Service and set the Startup Type to Automatic.

    1. Reinstall Your Bluetooth Drivers: Outdated or corrupted drivers could cause issues with Bluetooth connectivity.

Press Windows key + X and click Device Manager.

    Expand the Bluetooth category.

Right-click on your Bluetooth adapter and select Uninstall device.

Restart your computer. Windows should automatically install the latest driver upon restart.

    1. Check for Interference: USB devices can sometimes interfere with Bluetooth connections. If your Bluetooth device is unresponsive or sluggish, check to make sure it’s not too close to any other USB device that’s plugged into a USB 3.0 port.

    1. Remove and Re-add the Bluetooth Device: If the above steps don’t work, try removing the Bluetooth device from your PC and then adding it back.

Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.

Select the problematic device and click on Remove device.

Click on Add Bluetooth or other devices to add the device back.
