Windows Hyper-V Server Host Windows Search via a Guest Win2019 Server

I have a bare-metal installation of Windows Hyper-v Server 2019 with two virtual Windows 2019 servers running as guests. One is the Domain Controller and the other host all the other Roles including the RDSH Role which I understand is incompatible with the Windows Search Service. So I have the Search Service running on the Domain Controller but the available locations only index physical disks. This virtual server resides on a vhdx Virtual Drive and the drive I want to index is a partition on the bare-metal machine. I know that you can set a pass-through physical drive in he virtual machine settings, but it doesn't seem that you can pass in a physical partition from the host. How can you index a partition on the bare-metal machine to enable fast searching over UNC mapped drives?

Creating that pass-through disk is what I was attempting to do, but of course now that I have gotten so far into setting everything up, I had initially taken my 8 1.2TB SFF HDDs and created a RAID 5 with the HP Smart Array, creating one physical disk. The Host is installed on one partition, the VHDs are on another and there are 2 partitions that I would like to pass through, but it will only pass-through physical disks and I cannot take the RAID offline with the Host running. So what it seems like I am going to have to do is restructure my Smart Array into at least 2 physical disks, each raided. and allowing the one physical disk to be offline so that I can pass it into the Guest server. Of course there's probably no easy way to do that other than a complete reinstall all the way down and including the Host. Is there a partition magic way of reorganizing that while it's live?
