JScript issues with Win11 24H2: per-application "JScriptReplacement"?

After Windows11 24H2, there are many compatibility issues with JScript engine as reported in other threads.
There is a known workaround in the registry (per system or per user) using the JScriptReplacement=0.
But, is there a per-application workaround without messing the registry, that is not always acceptable?
Can an application opt-in to use the old engine explicitly?

Kestutis Mitkus 1 Reputation point2025-06-10T14:50:39.0433333+00:00 We were facing the same problem and used this JScriptReplacement workaround, but later after upgrading our testing application, which was using JScript tests, this workaround caused object recognition issues, where objects that appear after a delay are not detected, leading to test failures. We are stuck with older application version because of this issue and can't upgrade to latest version with various fixes.
Any suggestion how to solve this issue?
