Window server patching failure

Window update KB50550008 patching is failing despite all effort to update on my test server.Pls any reason why?

    Based on the description, I understand your question is related to Window server patching failure.

    May I know your server version? I checked in windows update catalog but it seems there is no update KB50550008, you can double check the system version and KB number. if there is error screenshot, you can also post here.

    Hello,

    Thanks for sharing, it seems there is double 5 in you orginal post so it cannot be recognized.

    Please firstly run below command to scan some system files and check result:

    sfc /scannow

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /restoreHealth

    Then Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters. Next, under Get up and running, select Windows Update > Run the troubleshooter.
