I am trying to migrate a SQL Database from Vcenter into an Azure SQL Database (not managed instance) via Database Migration Services but for some reason the migration wizard cant seem to find the databases that I need to migrate. I have checked my credentials against the on prem server's SQL Authenticate and confirmed that port 1433 is open on the server.

    Hi Lanard Fletcher,

The migration from SQL Server to Azure SQL Database using Azure Database Migration Service (DMS) is currently disabled because it requires a self-hosted integration runtime (IR) to access the source and target servers.

We request you to refer the below documents:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/data-migration/sql-server/database/database-migration-service?tabs=portal

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-factory/create-self-hosted-integration-runtime?WT.mc_id=Portal-Microsoft_Azure_DMS&tabs=data-factory#create-a-self-hosted-ir-via-ui

If this is not the scenario you are encountering, please share a screenshot of the issue you are facing so we can assist you further.
