Hey guys! Sorry I couldn't find an error tag. I recently updated my windows 10 (forgive me for not knowing which version I updated to, it was auto) and within an hour or so it blue screened my PC. The stop code was 'CRITICAL_PROCESSES_DIED'. I booted with command prompt, cuz safe mode doesnt work, and I tried SFC scan. It couldn't do it, it said Windows resource couldn't do the function. I used DiskPart to check my boot drive (an SSD), and when I tried to use Dism Image Cleanup on the partition that contains the program files, windows folder, etc.. it told me 'this volume doesn't contain a recognised file structure'. chkfsk didn't work well either.. it removed a few corrupted files then it said 'an unspecified error occurred (726166696c652e63 251)'
and another unspecified error with a code. then it said 'failed to transfer logged messages to the event log with status 0'. How to fix this..? ;~;

There are multiple types of drive tests.
A drive can pass one test and fail another.
There is a bootable Long generic test that is the drive test type used for warranty replacement:

Malware
Ransomware
Problems with Windows upgrades and updates
Acts of Mother nature (fire, flood, etc.)

Backup images can be saved to another disk drive and/or the cloud.
Restoring an image typically takes less than one hour.
