Music for the first 140 episodes was composed by [[Sandeep Mukherjee]], [[Kartik]], and composer duo [[Inder Bawra]] and [[Sunny Bawra]]. [[Sandeep Mukherjee]] later took over complete responsibility as the composer. Famous pakhawaj player Pt. [[Bhavani Shankar]] recorded an original composition for the Tandav sequence shown after Sati's demise.
