Electron (software framework)

Electron (formerly known as Atom Shell[1]) is the main framework behind two notable open source software: GitHub Atom (text editor)[2] and Microsoft Visual Studio Code.[3] GitHub Electron is an open source framework developed by GitHub.[4] Electron allows the Development of desktop GUI application by using Node.js framework which is originally used for development of backend web applications.
