Wooden, Iron and Steel Ships built in the Shipyards of the Naval Station of El Ferrol, in North-western Spain, between 1750 and 1909.

  1. ^ Between the years 1808 and 1825, coinciding with the emancipation of the Spanish Colonies in America, and the war against the French, the shipyards of El Ferrol will cease any activity. For 17 years there will be a complete standstill and no ship will be launch in the most important shipyards of Spain in Northern of Iberia. [1]
  2. ^ In 1842 the Spanish First Steamship is launch in the shipyards of El Ferrol. [2]
