Minor NPOV issues as well as some language usage issues (strange constructions). Attention from a native speaker of English would be helpful. Also, a lot of those blank subject headings should go. --Dante Alighieri | Talk 18:56, 26 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Specifically (with regard to the NPOV issues), the article reads almost like a travel brochure. While it is heartwarming to read what was clearly written by someone with a love for his/her homeland, it isn't terribly encyclopedic. --Dante Alighieri | Talk 16:31, 4 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

I took out lots of information that seemed to be based on oral histories, as well as irrelevant statements. The article still needs sourcing for many statements, as well as someone knowledgeable in the Greek language. As for the name, the modern Arabic is Fandaqomiyah, although that is a corruption of earlier Greek. I'm not sure if the current title accurately represents either one. I moved to Fandaqumiya, which is the most common spelling I found using the Google test (298), in accordance with user:Thameen. Cheers, TewfikTalk 06:21, 11 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
