Place of Skulls is a doom metal band from Knoxville, Tennessee.
Biograpy
Place of Skulls was formed in 2000 by ex-Pentagram guitarist Victor Griffin. The name is a biblical reference to Golgotha. The band put out their debut album, Nailed, on Southern Lord Records in 2002. Four songs were recorded during the Nailed session that did not appear on the album. These songs all dealt with Griffin's new found faith in Christianity. These were released as the Love Through Blood EP in 2005. Scott "Wino" Weinrich joined the band for their second album, With Vision. This album was released by Southern Lord Records in 2003. The band signed to Germany's Exile on Mainstream Records and released their most recent album, The Black Is Never Far.

Greening Australia has been involved in many restoration projects since its inception, including the National Tree Program, the One Billion Trees Program, and Green Corps providing trees, technical advice and education, volunteer coordination and funding for restoration projects.

On World Environment Day 1998, Greening Australias work was recognised with admission to the United Nations Environment Programme Global 500 Roll of Honour.

Projects
Saltshaker
The Saltshaker Project is an initiative of Greening Australia, SE NSW, the Boorowa Regional Catchment Committee, and Boorowa Council, in association with the Boorowa Landcare Network, to tackle dryland salinity, reduced water quality, and biodiversity in Boorowa, New South Wales. It is funded by the Natural Heritage Trust, and involves nearly 70 landowners.

At the start of the project, David Freudenberger of CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems conducted a bird survey. As of 2004, AUS $1.8 million had been spent, and over 9.3 square kilometres had been revegetated, with over 110,000 trees and shrubs planted and 900 kilometres of tree seeding done.
