==The Shaw Library and Resource Centre==
The school library is named after one of the school's most famous old boys, Shaw. It has about 20 computers, twenty-five thousand books and has a heritage walk at the back to enlighten others on the history.

it has three extremely ''helpful'' librarians on duty at all times.

she is a wrinkled old hag whose only goal in life is to be as big a bitch as possible. she will randomly scream at students to keep quiet. she has no sense of justice and doesn't bother to find out who made the noise..she just scolds everyone in her immediate "blast range". many students have felt the weight of her displeasure and their ears have probably suffered untold horrors by her screeches. though many students dislike her, they do not do much about it because she does not even come close to comparing to the other 2.

agnes agnes agnes. what can a person say about you? how about everything that was said about betty to a magnitude of 100? yes that sounds about right. she is totally incompetent and relies totally on others to control the students. her hobby is trying to wagging her fingers at students and telling them to stop fooling around because, as she so eloquently puts it, "this is a library". yes dear agnes we are aware of the fact it is a library. even if we couldn't see it before, now we can definitely hear it due to your yelling and your spit all over our faces. and i thought you shouldn't yell in the library? oh the irony of the situation.

she~who~must~not~be~named aka the butch. when she was first introduced, all the students took a deep breath to smell the supposedly new air within the library that would be brought by a ''professional'' librarian.
sadly they all choked on the putrid stench.
the butch has proved herself incompetant over and over again. she at least respects her own rules(unlike the 2 mentioned above) and does not yell or screech at the students. however, she just gives this "i'm holier than thou" smirk at you before threatening to throw you out of the library for violating rules.
oh and the rules?..are ridculous
~students are not allowed to even close their eyes for extended amounts of time(ie more than the time needed to blink). the library is supposed to be a quiet haven for students to rest and reserve their energies for their classes. yes, if the library is full we should make way for those who need it for reserch. but if theres nobody there, shouldnt students be allowed to rest just for a short time?
~no making noise. now this might sould reasonable. but even when researching something with a teachers permission and discussing in whispers, a librarian never fails to come over and threaten to throw you out or call a teacher.
~the rest of the rules are equally ridiculous.
many students have complained to teachers about the unfairness of the librarians. however, the teachers refuse to believe their statements on the mere basis that the librarians are ''adults''. this has led to their tyranny increasing, especially towards students of the year of 2006. the librarians are always specifically targeting these students. certain students may deserve this treatment. however, a certain group of students from the class of 4.6 and 4.7 are always being targeted unfairly and without reason. the librarians seem to especially dislike a boy from 4.6 and have banned him from the library just because he protested to their injustice(his name starts with C). they also target another student from 4.7(name starting with N, however he is no longer a student of the school) as a troublemaker and are always coming up with excuses to throw him out. they even used his friends as an excuse once and said either he get out or they all get out. they also targeted his brother just because he was his brother. this has sparked the aforementioned student anger, starting a feud against the librarians, leading to increased rudeness and desrespect to them. (luckily the said students were able to find refuge in a safe haven on the 1st floor of the IB building)
