Re: OCO-2/3 visualization
Ah I understand now, sorry for my confusion. The L2 Standard does indeed have recent file updates but does not have GeoTraj variables on Panoply. Thus, you have to write a program to plot the data. The GES DISC has several How-To's for plotting data, for example, in Python: https://disc.gsfc.nasa.go...

Re: OCO-2/3 visualization
Under RetrievalResults, select RetrievalResults_xco2. However, if you have issues plotting it in Panoply, you may want to write a code to plot it accounting for quality flags, uncertainty, etc. Is there a reason you are looking at the L2 Standard rather than the L2 Lite files?

Re: OCO-2/3 visualization
Hi, thank you for your question. Yes, the Lite products are in NetCDF4 format and the Standard product is an HDF5 file. To easily visualize in Panoply, you can access the data via OPeNDAP (my example link: https://oco2.gesdisc.eosdis.nasa.gov/opendap/OCO2_L2_Standard.11.2r/2024/092/oco2_L2StdGL_5185...
