Re: Does Instantaneous Photosynthetically Available Radiation (IPAR) apply exclusively to clear-sky (cloud-free) conditi
Hello, Thank you for your reply. The PAR ATBD appears to only describe the calculation of PAR under clear-sky conditions, while the PACE OCI PAR product currently provides valid values for both clear-sky and cloudy-sky conditions. I am curious about the algorithm used to derive PAR under cloudy skie...

Questions about PACE OCI Cloud product
Hello, I read the cloud optical properties (ATBD) at https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/resources/atbd/atmospheric/cop/. " The algorithm is an implementation of the optical properties component (Platnick et al., 2003, 2017) of the CHIMAERA retrieval code (Wind et al., 2020), which has been applie...

How does SeaDAS 'L2gen' regrid ancillary data to match the resolution of PACE-OCI?
Processing PACE-OCI requires ancillary data, like meteorological data from MERRA-2. However, MERRA-2 data has a coarser horizontal resolution compared to PACE-OCI. How does SeaDAS 'L2gen' regrid this ancillary data to align with PACE-OCI's resolution? Thank you.
