Re: NASA JPL SST L4 MUR Data Degradation

Re: Remove ___location marker in snapshot
That is strange that you can't see the place marker, if it appears in your download. But for example this appears to be what you are requesting in Worldview: https://worldview.earthdata.nasa.gov/?v=-252211.97456758044,-2004016.5514636077,1075110.9704537522,-1379944.4292654&p=antarctic&s=164....

Re: Remove ___location marker in snapshot
Hello! By removing "&MARKER=442867.5412177616,-1596928.7634426022" from the URL, you will now have a snapshot without the marker e.g. https://wvs.earthdata.nasa.gov/api/v1/snapshot?REQUEST=GetSnapshot&TIME=2017-09-14T00:00:00Z&BBOX=46818.674728077094,-1920227.0296211941,649683....

Re: Beginner Help: QGIS + CO2
Hello! The imagery available via the GIBS API is also available in Worldview (https://worldview.earthdata.nasa.gov) if you want to first visualize the layers there. This makes it slightly easier for you to identify what layers you want to check out in QGIS as Worldview provides more information abou...

Re: Corrected Reflectance (Bands 7-2-1)
All MODIS and VIIRS Near real-time (NRT) imagery layers are currently unavailable in Worldview and GIBS as the data provider is experiencing system issues starting April 6, 2025. Imagery prior to that date is still available. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Re: Navigating PACE imagery
The true color reflectance imagery in Worldview for Aqua is scaled to 250m resolution, and the true color reflectance imagery for PACE is scaled to 1km resolution. Here they are in a side-by-side comparison to show the difference in resolution: https://go.nasa.gov/4gPYEU4 If you downloaded a snapsho...
