Dear Jahirbgoode,
To get started to answer this question, it would help you could specify the latitude and time period of the data that you are evaluating? This will impact the final answer.
Thanks.

Re: What is the spectrum of the GHI data (POWER Project)?
Dear Tsdejong, GHI is the same as ALLSKY_SFC_SW_DWN. It has the same broad spectral region (see the thread below). In the POWER dictionary is the parameter called PAR or Photosynthetically Active Radiation which has the spectral range of 400 nm to 700 nm. Perhaps, this PAR (called All-sky Surface PA...

Re: Daily Spectral Solar Radiation
The CERES data products do feature estimates of UV-A, UV-B and UV-index in the data entitled CERES SYN1Deg (https://ceres.larc.nasa.gov/data/#syn1deg-level-3). We have also made those products available via the POWER API (https://power.larc.nasa.gov/docs/services/api/ or https://power.larc.nasa.gov/...

Re: Daily Spectral Solar Radiation
Unfortunately, we do not have 5-10 nm spectrally resolved fluxes. Our current radiative transfer model has broader bands than that. This will require a moderate resolution radiative transfer model. Such models have been developed for the CLARREO mission but have not been applied to time histories of...

Re: Daily Spectral Solar Radiation
Although PAR is included from the CERES project in the upcoming POWER web suite release, it is also integrated and NOT spectral. POWER also includes UV-A and UV-B, from CERES but these are also integrated over those wavelengths. How high of spectral resolution are you seeking?

Re: Insolation Clearness Index
Dear Mr. Magnini, I apologize for the delay. Your question will be difficult to answer because I don't know how responsive your system is to changing solar irradiance values. The clearness index decrease over the time span you show is about 6%. Yet, the output of the system has decreased 15%. Perhap...

Re: What is the spectrum of the GHI data (POWER Project)?
Dear tsdejong1234, I think we answered your question, via e-mail, however, for Forum users I thought I'd enter the answer to this question. The surface solar irradiance or "Global Horizontal Irradiance" available at the POWER web site is the full spectrum irradiance spanning the wavelength...

Re: Hi
P.S. In my response, I should have noted that we do have estimates from ocean winds at 2 m, 10 m and 50 m above the surface. However, we do NOT have ocean wave heights. Lastly, please note that all of these parameters are adapted from NASA's MERRA-2 reanalysis data products as described in our "...

Re: Hi
Dear Mr. Ayodotun, Thank you for using the POWER web services portal. Although we don't have SST as an official variable we do carry the variable called Earth Skin temperature which is essentially SST for regions that are oceanic (API variable name: TS). Unfortunately, we don't have the support to p...

Re: The elevation is different from the GPS
The data sets provided through POWER are "gridded" in the sense that the value of the parameter you request is effective for the entire area of the grid box. For meteorological parameters like temperature and relative humidity this value is representative of the 1/2 x 1/2 degree area; for ...
