Real variable values in l3mapgen geotiff output

Hi,When outputting geotiff from the l3mapgen command, I only get a scaled image (in byte) without scaling factor written to the file metadata. Is there any way to output a geotiff with the actual variable values, or is geotiff just for visualization?See a reproducible example below.Cheers,Loïcwget h...

l2gen: valid l2prod values

Thanks for the help about l3mapgen. Does l2mapgen similarly refer to an external parameter file? I've been trying to reproject my user generated afai, with interpolation, to produce a "pretty image" but the values in the output geotiff are nothing like what is in the input L2 file.Is t...

l2gen: valid l2prod values

Hi,

Where can I find a list of valid products that can be passed to l2gen (l2prod argument)? I'm particularly interested in FAI/AFAI ((Alternative) Floating Algae index ), hu, 2009; Wang and Hu, 2016. In case a product does not exist, is there a way to pass a formula to l2gen?

Thanks,
Loïc

l3mapgen georeferencing

Not inelegant at all :) For some reasons I could not visualize that -122,3 would give me the western edge of the projected extent... So thanks for showing your reasoning, it helped a lot even though gmt isn't part of my workflow. For future reference, I'm posting below the python way to get a...

l3mapgen georeferencing

Yes, that makes perfect sense.I therefore tried to georeference the array using the south-west corner coordinates but the result is off too. Which also makes sense, since for the 3 degrees parallel to be entirely contained in the bounding box, the south-west corner must be below 3 degrees.Unfortunat...
