The 8D files for viirs sst seem to be missing for 20240430 and 20240516 (20240508 is there, as well as 20240524). Looks like the daily files are good, so maybe just a hiccup?

Looks like the 8day sst file starting on 11.17.2023 got skipped over. No image on the level-3 browser, and can't grab using wget. If you could check on it, I'd appreciate it.

I've noticed that two 8-day sst files are not available from snpp-viirs: 05 Aug - 12 Aug (2023) and 21 Aug - 28 Aug (2023). The last SST file currently is 23 Sep - 29 Sep (2023). Since the daily files exist, I'm guessing this is just a hiccup. Thx. Robert

It looks like an 8day modis SST 9km file didn't get uploaded. It's for 2023 041 start day. 033 and 049 are both out there. Couldn't find it on direct access or the level-3 browser. Guessing it's just a hiccup, and not a problem with the data? I'll keep my eye out for it. Thx. Robert

Hi there, Just noticed that the 8day, 9km par data has a recurring swath of missing data in the north pacific. Extreme case can be seen in 2003 for the 8day file starting on day 041, which gives the southern most extent of the missing data. It repeats on other years. You can see this if you look at ...
