NO2 OMI
Hi, my question is about percentage of no2 emission by segment. How much percentage of that emission is from fossil fuels due to car driving and how much from industry or power plants ? If there is no clear answer, I would like to know an approximation of this share.

Re: NO2 OMI
Hello,
That's a good question, and there is no simple answer. It is very ___location-dependent. For urban areas in general, most of the NO2 would be attributable to transportation. Areas that are downwind of fossil-fuel burning power generation plants may have NO2 from multiple sources, if they are near urban areas, or could be exclusively from the power plant, as can be seen for isolated power plants in rural areas. The NO2 concentration by itself does not provide any way to distinguish its source.
