We are experiencing a higher than average load on the data pool after our planned maintenance which is causing time-out issues. It is up and running, so please continue to try accessing it throughout the day. We also recommend using AppEEARS to access the MODIS data.

I was able to download data in a certain window beforehand, but after checking again this morning, it seems that the servers still have very high traffic.

Hi @dawere ,
We are still experiencing issues and looking into other solutions. At this time the best advice I have received is to try and download data half an hour after the top of the hour (i.e. 1:30, 2:30, 3:30, etc) as this is when we are manually refreshing connections until we have a better solution. Apologies for the delay, thank you for your patience while we work through this.

Hi,

I have been trying to download MODIS NDVI/LST datasets from https://e4ftl01.cr.usgs.gov/ but nothing is working. I used curl/wget/R/Python to download bulk datasets but the server seems unresponsive. I even recreated my .netrc file. Please advice?

Even if I try to access the dataset using browser, it says Bad Request (please see attached)
