IDL code to read post processed granules

Hi there,

I ordered some MODIS Aqua L1B granules with the online post processing steps: only nigh data from some bands and a certain region was selected to produce.

But I found the data cannot be open and read with regular IDL code like the "modis_l1b_read.pro", as the "sd" part is no longer there in these HDF files.

Do you have some recommended IDL routines to read the data from these customized granules?

Sorry, we don't have any IDL routines available to help you.However, if you like you can use tools provided on ladsweb to read hdf files ( see under 'Manipulation Tools' at https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/tools-and-services/).
