Re: Verify that your username and password are correct in .netrc
Hi @kasimir I believe this might be due to the 401 error. If you are seeing a 401 Error, that is a known error that we are looking into. Some of the other DAACs are also seeing this error. This error seems to be occurring when using some scripts to download the data but we are looking more into what is causing it and if it is only occurring when users are using a script or not. We will post once we have more information on that error. If the data are needed immediately I recommend downloading the data without a script via AppEEARS, DataPool, NASA Earthdata Search or USGS EarthExplorer.

Re: Verify that your username and password are correct in .netrc
Thank you for the reply. I could not see any error number. It just tells me that the data could not be downloaded and that I should check my username and password. I try to batch download the data for my ROI. Downloading it manually would be difficult because we are talking about almost 1000 download links.
Hope this can be solved soon!
Best,
Kasimir

Kasimir,
I was looking into this and it looks like there has been a change to the authentication that accompanied the last update where you need to use a bearer token to download, not just username and password. The posts below gives more information, I hope that these help:
