VNP46A2 - 504 Gateway Error

Greetings Earthdata Team,
I've been trying to download several panels of VNP46A2 data from https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/archive/allData/5000/VNP46A2/2022/ however, I continue to get a 504 timeout error when I attempt to access via browser or wget. I've tried a couple of different wget, curl, and R's httr approaches, but all end up as a 504 error. I see that y'all are working on an update, but in the mean time, is there an alternate source for this data?

We are aware of and understand the problem (504 Gateway Time-out error) users are facing these days in downloading data. Our team is working on a solution, and hope to have a release out in the next week or so. In the meantime, if you get 504 error try again after a short pause or at a different time.

The same response of "in the next week or so" was provided several weeks ago viewtopic.php?t=3575. Can you provide some more details what steps are being taken to remedy the situation and perhaps a more firm timeline for when downloads might be stabilized. We have dependent downstream workflows and are now considering migrating our code to potentially use the OpenDAP endpoints for improved stability.

Same here with 504 Gateway Error. The connection seems to be unstable. Sometimes even the webpage can't be loaded.

Yes, our team is actively working on resolving the issue but may take a week or more to deploy the solution.

Not sure if it has been officially fixed, but the 504 errors have ceased for me today
