I am a student of the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
For my thesis I am looking for air pollution data. To be precise, I am
looking for the hourly Air Quality Index (AQI) variables for three
locations. These locations are in New York, London and Tokyo. From 1990
till 01/01/2020. Do you have any idea where I can find this data?

I'm a researcher pursuing PhD in atmospheric chemistry. I need hourly data from ground stations on NO2, SO2, formaldehyde, tropospheric ozone, PM2.5, PM10, and black carbon for my research. I'm not sure if the datasets are available hourly on the ground stations in Bangladesh and the Northeastern states of India. Please let me know whether it's available and whether I may access those datasets.

A quick Google search displayed this website from India which provides real-time air quality information for cities in India. The website is https://aqicn.org/map/india/. It appears they have historical information available.
Additionally, there is a geostationary satellite monitoring air quality over Asia called the Geostationary Environment Monitoring Spectrometer (GEMS). Their website is http://gems1.yonsei.ac.kr. Their data is available on an hourly basis and does cover most of India.
