Hi xizhilang,

In order to understand the problem I would need to know the exact granules you are using for the comparison. But I suspect that perhaps the SST values are not flagged properly. You should only compare variable sea_surface_temperature pixel values where the quality_level variable is greater than or equal to 3 or 4. Make sure you are doing that.

Thanks for the update. I'll take a look at the individual granules but I am on conference travel this week so please keep in mind that it might take day or two. Also you are aware there are significant pixel size differences between these two products, 1 km vs 0.25 decimal degrees, but I would agree that the SST difference is very large. Perhaps there is an error in one of the products. I will investigate.
