Issues accessing oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov

We can not access the ocean color website (https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/) at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM), MS, US.

The USM iTech support said:
It looks like they (https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/) are blocking connections from our campus. I ran a traceroute and could see where the traffic leaves our network, hits the internet, and is then being blocked on their end. I googled “I cannot access oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov”, and I can see where other people have had this same issue.

I’m not sure how to contact them, but I’m looking into it now. They will need to add our IP address range (131.95.0.0/16) to their “allowed” list in order for anyone on campus to access their site.

Fixed.

A corrected route has been put in place between USM to the ocean color web site. The problem was an asymmetric route from NASA back to USM.
