ORNL DAAC Request for New GCMD Project: U.S. GHG Center

The ORNL DAAC needs a new GCMD project vocabulary entry, here are the details:

Short name: U.S. GHG Center
Long name: U.S. Greenhouse Gas Center

Definition: The U.S. Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Center is a multi-agency effort to collaborate across the federal government on greenhouse gas monitoring and measurements. Datasets contributing to the U.S. GHG Center come from both atmospheric observations and models and have passed rigorous benchmarking and quality testing. These data provide vital information about both natural and anthropogenic sources, helping us better understand global climate and the United States’ role within it.

I need some additional information.

What provider should this data center be under? Specifically, it appears to be part of a U.S. Federal agency.

The short name is usually an abbreviation. I recommend 'GHGCenter'

Is each project keyword associated with one or multiple providers? I don't remember providing that information for other project keywords I submitted. The U.S. GHG Center is a multi-agency effort, currently with support from NASA, EPA, NIST, and NOAA.

Regarding the shortname, I think retaining "U.S." or "US" in the name is critical, to indicate this is an effort beyond NASA. Is whitespace not allowed in short names?
