Navigating PACE imagery

by mwraenqual » Mon Aug 26, 2024 3:51 pm America/New_York

When grabbing snapshots from NASA Worldview of the PACE data, should we only use the default setting of 500m for the resolution setting? Looking to compare imagery between PACE and MODIS Aqua.

The true color reflectance imagery in Worldview for Aqua is scaled to 250m resolution, and the true color reflectance imagery for PACE is scaled to 1km resolution. Here they are in a side-by-side comparison to show the difference in resolution: https://go.nasa.gov/4gPYEU4

If you downloaded a snapshot of the imagery at 500m resolution - one would likely be oversampled.
