Issue accessing MODIS Level 2 order

by hwaga » Sat Sep 21, 2024 4:40 am America/New_York

Dear all,

I cannot access http_manifest.txt file from notification emails or ODPS Dashboard. I have downloaded data hundreds of times to date. If I try to access http_manifest.txt, I am redirected to Earthdata Search and get the message "The GetFile Application; Please agree to EULA". However, OB.DAAC Data Access is authorized and is shown under "Authorized EULAs" on my Earhdata profile. Can anyone help me solve this issue?

Best regards,
Tomo

Sorry for the delay, but this should be fixed now. The page requesting EULA acceptance was erroneously occurring for users who were downloading extracted files. I pushed a change yesterday to remove that requirement, and now the page should display instructions for where to accept the EULA.

In case you’re curious about accepting EULAs, they can be accepted by going to https://urs.earthdata.nasa.gov/profile, and clicking "EULAs"->"Accept New EULAs" in the nav bar. Only the MERIS and Sentinel EULAs should apply for OBDAAC data

Let me know if the issue persists!
