The Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC)'s Science Outreach Team has made an interactive ArcGIS StoryMap titled PREFIRE Data at ASDC to Improve Polar System Observations. The StoryMap gives users a glimpse into two new exciting satellites that will measure a little-studied portion of the radiant energy emitted by Earth for clues about sea ice loss, ice sheet melting, and a warming Arctic.
The StoryMap features a video of the PREFIRE Launch, a visualization showing brightness temperature over Greenland from one of the two CubeSats that comprise NASA’s PREFIRE mission, and a section describing how to access PREFIRE data.
