May I ask where I can find direct observations of aerosol and ocean properties through 2024? Thank you.

I'm not sure what type of data you are seeking; the GES DISC (https://disc.gsfc.nasa.gov/) has a large variety of aerosol data products, including aerosol data over the oceans. The MERRA-2 data collection has some ocean-related variables, including sea salt.

At PO.DAAC, we do not have aerosol measurements, but we do have observations of other ocean surface properties such as sea surface temperature, salinity, winds, and other quantities at https://podaac.jpl.nasa.gov/
