Daymet daily data 2024

Good day,
I am trying to determine when the Daymet daily data is renewed? It currently extends to the end of 2023, I don't find any reference as to when it is expected that the annual data for 2024 will be incorporated into the Daymet dataset. Any insights would be appreciated. Or if any user has suggestions of compiled near-real time daily climate datasets for the US (and ideally Canada) can be sourced that would be appreciated. I have started to look into the NOAA datasets, but was hoping to find similar high resolution products as offered with the Daymet dataset.

Hello,
Thanks for your inquiry about Daymet 2024 data. The annual update of Daymet data is performed after the close of the calendar year with processing starting about 30 days after the end of the calendar year in order to allow input station data to approach archive quality status.
Once standardized products are produced, data are curated and archived through the ORNL DAAC to NASA Earthdata.

Yes that is really helpful. As an aside, do you then know of any national service which releases similar data on a monthly/quarterly basis (besides NOAA - we are ideally seeking higher resolution input)?

I'm not familiar with any higher resolution datasets.
An Earthdata Search using keywords SURFACE TEMPERATURE MAXIMUM/MINIMUM TEMPERATURE reveals 36 matching collections that may be of use.

Hello,

Thank you for checking in on Daymet 2024 data. I am a delayed in processing while a large set of input station data are in the process of getting resolved through other agencies. I plan to begin processing this coming week with the available data and will continue to work with agencies to have a complete North American extent as soon as possible.
