Hello! As I advance in my research career, I’m hoping to pursue a PhD using PACE data. However, while reviewing the data products table, I noticed that some of the Aquatic Properties products to be generated by OCI are still listed as provisional or TBD. Additionally, one of them currently has a spatial resolution of only 4 km.
Will higher-resolution versions of this product be made available? Also, is there an estimated timeline for when the provisional and TBD products will be validated and ready for use?
Hello! Although the PACE OCI products are listed as 'provisional', they are ready for use and are publicly available for your access. There is no hard timeline for additional products or when the scientific review process will move from provisional to standard for the products. You have the best point of reference, which is the PACE Data Products table. Check back to see when status change, but don't hesitate to use the available products for your research now.
