Delay in MODIS_Grid_16DAY_500m_VI (MOD13A1) data availability

Hello,

I’ve noticed that for the product MODIS_Grid_16DAY_500m_VI (MOD13A1), the most recent files available are for DOY 2025193 (12 July 2025).
According to the usual 16-day interval, the next set should be for DOY 2025209 (28 July 2025), but these are not yet present in the archive.

Could you please confirm:

Whether there is a known delay in processing or posting this dataset.

When the missing files are expected to be uploaded.

Hi Robert,
It usually takes about 2-3 days after the composite period ends for the data to be processed and archived and ready for distribution. This is the second day since the final composite day, so It should be ready to go later today or tomorrow. I will keep an eye on it and if it is not here tomorrow we can check for any issues.

I noticed the same issue as Robert and I still see the data is missing, and now it has been around 5 days. Could you update us on the progress of production?

Hi All,
Sorry for the delay. We were informed by the data providers that day 223 needed to be reprocessed so it did take longer than expected. The data for July 28 did arrive yesterday, however, so it is caught up. Thanks for your patience.
