Link to Earthdata GIS Portal is broken

The link to the Earthdata GIS portal (https://gis.earthdata.nasa.gov/portal/home/) appears to be broken.

I also tried launching Earthdata GIS from this page (https://www.earthdata.nasa.gov/data/tools/earthdata-gis), but it redirects to the same error page: https://gis.earthdata.nasa.gov/portal/home/error.html.

Is there an updated website or an alternate ___location for the Earthdata GIS portal?

Looks like the GIS portal link is indeed broken and just looping back to an error page. this might be a temporary outage or the portal has been moved. Best option is to check earthdata’s main tools page or reach out to their support team to confirm the updated link. hopefully they’ll post an official update soon.

The link is still not working for me.

Fine with accessing the tool website (https://www.earthdata.nasa.gov/data/tools/earthdata-gis), but not the portal (https://gis.earthdata.nasa.gov/portal/home/).

This may have to do with the recent update of the EGIS platform from ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4 to 11.5. Here's some guidance from the EGIS team:

EGIS URLs Issues:
If you’re seeing errors when accessing gis.earthdata.nasa.gov/portal/home or other EGIS URLs, it is most likely due to cached web files from the previous 11.4 version.

We recommend the following:
Perform a hard refresh in your browser:
Windows/Linux: Ctrl + R
macOS: Cmd + Shift + R

Or clear your browser’s cache, then try reloading the page.
This will allow your browser to correctly load updated resources introduced with the 11.5 upgrade.
