Processing Landsat 8 images with L2gen
Hello
I have Windows laptop with 4GB RAM and have made my system a dual boot by installing Ubuntu in it. I have installed SeaDAS 7.5.1 and OCSSW tools. I am trying to process Lansat OLI Collection 1 image of Chesapeake Bay. The image ID is: LO08_L1GT_014034_20150303_20170228_01_T2_B3.TIF.
I am using the l2gen tool to process but I keep getting this error: LO08_L1GT_014034_20150303_20170228_01_T2_B9.TIF is not a valid input mission: Mission=null. I don't know what to do?
I am new to SeaDAS, so I am hoping I am missing something. Any help / recommendation would be much appreciated!
Thank you!
Best,
Nidhi

Processing Landsat 8 images with L2gen
Take a look at earlier posts within this thread. The TIF file is not the correct input file, the input file is the one that ends in MTL.txt

You need to pass l2gen the metadata file as the ifile. It should look something like:
LO08_L1GT_014034_20150303_20170228_01_T2_MTL.txt
LO08_L1GT_014034_20150303_20170228_01_T2_MTL.txt
