MODIS L1A Data subscription

by aody » Tue May 09, 2017 9:15 am America/New_York

Hello,
I submitted a data subscription two weeks ago and I get some problems:
1) I would like to subscribe for L1A MODIS A and T data. I choose the option "level 1" during subscription process but when I submitted it, the option desappear. I tried to put it again many times, but this never worked. I recived a message with subscribed data, but as expected it miss L1 data. There is any way to fix this problem?
2) I would like to see the  status of my subscriptions (I had response for only 3 of them and only with a http link for the last 3 days), but the given link https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/sdpscgi/registered/subscriptions_manager.cgi with my OBPG user name and password doesn't work, password and/or username seem to doesn't work, while I use them successefuly to register in subscription page.
Many thanks in advance,
Best regards,
A.

PS: my subscription numbers are:
Extraction Requests 2906, 2907, 2908
Data Subscriptions 1832, 1833, 1834

MODIS L1A Data subscription

The subscription_manager.cgi page has been replaced with https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/subscriptions/ and requires your EarthData login credentials (the same as this forum).  Your subscriptions had set the "extract to region", but not which data level (L1 or L2) so the extracted L1 data were not added.  I've modified the subscriptions to set L1 as the data extraction level for you.  FYI, your region is rather large, so the extraction may not be terribly efficient.

Your non-extracted subcriptions are updated as the files come in, but you will not get any notification.  Simply query the file_search utility, e.g.:

wget --post-data="subID=1832&results_as_file=1&addurl=1" -q -O - https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/api/file_search

You should receive only one email for the extracted and mapped subscriptions giving you the ___location on our FTP server where your data will be staged.
The L1 extracts should start arriving today.

Regards,
Sean
