Hi SeaDAS folks,
Thanks for being patient with me and my limited experience using linux systems. I need to update SeaDAS (from 7.3.2), but am pretty unsure about how to uninstall the previous version (I'm afraid to muck everything up, it's working perfectly).
So far I've tried downloading and installing version 7.4 separately, but when running the seadas_7.4_linux64_installer.sh the GUI does not work. Can you just confirm for me the steps for updating? Is it as simple as deleting the old version/running the /bin/uninstall script?
Thanks ahead of time!

Simple update question
Uninstalling a previous version is as simple as deleting the install directory.
The terminal from which you launch the installer needs to have the DISPLAY environment variable set for the installer GUI to work. Without that it will install via command line prompts (at least v7.4 will).
