aerosol reflectance product

by mamontes » Wed Jun 19, 2019 2:04 pm America/New_York

Dear Sean
which photon contributions are composing the aerosol product from seadas? (I am talking about La and not rhos) just atmosphere? atmo plus surface-reflected?
what is/are the seadas routine/s  describing the different reflectance components? for example fresnel is affecting direct and diffuse surface reflectance contributions
where is that calculated?
Thanks in advance for the clarification or pubs

See https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/technical/NASA-TM-2016-217551.pdf and the references therein for the theory and https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/ocssw/atmocor2_8c.html for hte starting point for the implementation in code...

thanks Sean, it seems like La is the same symbol in Mobleys doc and SeaDAS code source.
