Hello,
I couldn't find a citation DOI for the cumulative SST product from MODIS-Aqua (filename: AQUA_MODIS.20020704_20200831.L3m.CU.SST.x_sst_2.nc).
I followed the citation guidelines https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/citations/ leading to https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/doi/ and then https://podaac.jpl.nasa.gov/datasetlist ... &view=list for Sea Surface Temperature.
Is there a citable DOI for this dataset that I overlooked? Or if not, how should this dataset be referenced?

OBPG SST products can be referenced without a DOI. There are different entities tasked with assigning DOIs for different products. PO.DAAC is that entity for SST products. The SST datasets you retrieve from OBPG are derived from the PO.DAAC's L2 SST product. For reference, the PO.DAAC L2 SST product is: https://podaac.jpl.nasa.gov/datasetlist ... &view=list
