MODISA and MODIST processing schedule

Is there a schedule for processing final MODISA and MODIST level-2 data, i.e. when the attribute "processing_version" changes from 2018.1QLP, etc. to 2018.1 ?

2018.1QLP processing is near real time using possibly forecasted attitude/ephemeris and and forecasted or climatological meteorological and SST data. It is available a few hours after real time.

The 2018.1QL version is processed when the refined attitude/ephemeris and meteorological and SST data are available, typically 14-16 days after real time.

The 2018.1 version uses a refined instrument calibration, and is released in monthly batches that are generally available 45 -90 days after the last day of the month in question. We expect to release the July and August 2021 data in mid-October due to a delay in generating the refined calibration.

There is a quality problem with our ancillary ozone data that we are waiting for the provider to correct. At this time there is no estimate as to when we will be able to deliver the refined OC products.

At this time there is no estimate as to when we will be able to deliver the refined OC products.

As mission data are reprocessed, we will send a message to the entire oceancolor community.
