OLCI is removed from the list?

by yfan » Wed Mar 14, 2018 5:16 pm America/New_York

Hi,

It looks like OLCI support has been removed completely, the GUI doesn't have the option and the 'install_ocssw.py' removed --olci option as well.
any news on when OLCI will be back?

Best,
Yongzhen

OLCI is removed from the list?

We are currently only funded to support the archive and distribution of OLCI L1B products.  As this is the case, we are not able to provide the level of support warranted for higher level processing or inclusion of such processing capability in SeaDAS.  It has never been in the SeaDAS GUI, it was only ever included in the installer script for data processing.  It's removal from the installer script was to keep it in line with the GUI.  It has not been removed from the distribution site and can be manually installed if desired.  But, unless the funding situation changes, it will not be supported and is provided "as is".

Regards,
Sean
