Hello,

I've downloaded several times the chlorophyll concentration and KD490 data from MODIS L3, but when I try to read the data at SeaDAS it's not posible because there is no appropiate reader found, so I don't know what is wrong, whether the data or the software and how I could solve it.

Binned data must be mapped for display.   Mapping affects the statistical properties of the data (e.g., via subsampling or replication).   You should be wary of software that doesn't provide control over the choice of map projection and resampling method (i.e., adult supervision is required).     If you are on a suitable linux or macos system, you can use l3mapgen from the OCSSW Processing System to produce level-3 mapped files that can be displayed.   It is also possible to read binned data with matlab, R, python, etc. languages with good netcdf support and mapping tools to do mapping without the OCSSW programs.   There is a forum section for discussion of such 3rd party tools.
