Tommy,
Brian was having issues with l2gen, and asked me to run the suggestion here:

install_ocssw.py -b v7.5 --aqua as per the topic
Now my processing is failing with this error again?

However, the previous problem isn't the cause:
searobin 148 :/optics1/software/seadas/seadas-7.5.3> ncdump -h /optics1/software/seadas/seadas-7.5/ocssw/var/anc/2019/272/N2019272_SST_OIV2AV_24h.nc | grep title

I am unable to replicate your problem.
Please verify the version of l2gen you are running matches:
$ l2gen -version
msl12 9.5.0-V2019.3 (Aug 16 2019 12:47:35)

Sean,
Please close this. When I updated with this command:
install_ocssw.py -b v7.5 --aqua
Somehow things were not proper in the environment.
I had the script print out the l2gen version, and it was the incorrect version.
I made some corrections, and restarted the processing, and all is well.
Sorry for the trouble.

Well, almost. I was trying to fix why Brian's stuff was failing. He is posting his issue (actually Chuanmin's issue), that he was troubleshooting.

I run into the same errors when i was l2gen processing recent data (S3A:OLCI) in the scenes, for instance
...

/usr/local/app/seadas-7.5/ocssw/var/anc/2019/203/N2019203_SST_OIV2AV_24h.nc 203
Does this issue get solved ! Looking forward to solutions!

The original problem was solved by updating to the current version. Did you check the version of l2gen on your system?

My version is quite old: msl12 9.3.0--128-NOTFOUND (Aug 7 2018 09:53:52)
It looks I have to upgrade l2gen, right?
