Trouble with WSL installation

I have downloaded and installed the WSL for Windows 10 according to the "Windows Subsystem for Linux Installation Guide for Windows 10" and selected the most recent version of Ubuntu Linux (v 20.40).  I am having issues with the installation beginning with getting the proper Java version.  On a separate track, I have also tried to install the Linux version of SeaDAS  but having issues there also.  Thanks

I have installed SeaDAS in WSL2 successfully! You should give more details of installation.
For installing java8, you can see:Install java8 on ubuntu 20.04.
Regarding the requirements of SeaDAS, you can see here: https://seadas.gsfc.nasa.gov/requirements/
