The Goddard Earth Sciences Data and Information Services Center (GES DISC) and Jet Propulsion Laboratory Sounder Science Investigator-led Processing Systems (JPL Sounder SIPS) announce the release of Level 2 version 2 products from the AIRS (Atmospheric Infrared Sounder) and Advanced Microwave Sounding Unit (AMSU) instruments aboard the second Earth Observing System (EOS) polar-orbiting platform, Aqua. The data products are based on version 2 of the Community Long-term Infrared Microwave Coupled Atmospheric Product System (CLIMCAPS) algorithm.
