Hi There,
Not sure what happens but I have the message "No appropriate reader found" when I try to open a Level3 MODIS product I just got from http://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov ...
What's wrong here?

Most likely you are trying to read an L3b file, which contains binned data that cannot be displayed. Try the L3m files, which contain mapped data.
